OH, SO BEACHY!
Sunday, June 9, 2013 || 8:08 AM
In the wise words of YSL (and we quote accordingly), "Fashion fades, style is eternal". Nonetheless, we agree to disagree as we try our hand at achieving both fashion and style with this minimalist number. The MMTP Summer Reverie Eyelet Dress gets my thumb of approval and is hands-down my personal favourite because I appreciate how the M-shape bustier top flatters the chest area while the intricate eyelet details at the bottom add a bohemian touch to this lovely piece. Can someone say Nicole Richie?
Strawbies are delectable to the taste buds, but are equally tasty on the eyes. What more when they're on a dress that has a fitted bodice and ends with a flare? If you aren't already hungry for That 60s Love Floral Dress, we sure are!
If you thoroughly enjoyed the
Playful Summer Dungaree that we brought to you in the previous collection....
.....then you are sure to love its bolder, sassier counterpart to itsy bitsy bite-sized pieces! Let the bold floral prints emblazoned on the Wanderlust Bustier Playsuit work their own magic without the need for further accessorising or sprucing up. And it is a dash of vibrant colours that every wardrobe needs!
(Pssst... we also accidentally-on-purpose realized that it complements our
Eye Candy Skirt very well)
Peek-a-boo openings at the shoulders are also all the rage this season. So we thought to ourselves, why not a piece that perfectly combines this trend together with floral prints. And at last! We managed to unearth this lovely Seaside Blooms Blouse which is a perfect amalgamation of them both. 3 cheers to us!
But just in case your idea of a fun-in-the-sun get up is one that is laid back, we have the Robyn Stud Pocket Tee and the Mesmerizing Aztec Shorts that would pander to your ideals. The Robyn Stud Pocket Tee is available in Wine and Black but either way, they make pairings with printed bottoms a breeze and all you need to do is throw them on and you're good to go!
Behind the glitz of every blogshop's success is a pixie/a bunch of pixies. But behind every pixie's delight in working for these blogshops are special, never before seen scenes (that you wouldn't get to see as a regular customer). Scenes such as this....
and this.... Pouty Serene is pouty.
But on a more serious note, our photoshoot would not have been so fun without
Jingxuan, who's taking her baby steps to becoming a pro photographer! Despite the scorching weather, she still displayed professionalism and patience. So, on behalf of MMTP.....all the best, JX :D
Cheers and till next time!
As always,
Nic.

It's a Summer Love Affair, y'all!
Sunday, June 2, 2013 || 7:14 AM
What’s up, people!
As we march into the sunny, yellow season of summer, I’m
proud to say that MMTP has an awesome array of clothes all lined up for you
girls. From sweet to sultry – you name it, we practically have it! And because
we love you girls so much, we endured a 3 hour photoshoot at the little known
Hort Park despite the grueling beatings of the sun’s rays, in order to bring
out the best of our offerings! But before we unveil our latest Summer Love
Affair installation, do dig in to a preview of what you can expect in our
upcoming collection. (:
They say that summer’s all about vivacity. We
couldn’t agree more. Thus, we’ve lovingly manufactured the I Knew You Were Trouble Maxi that’s nothing short of that! Available in four colours that are so stunning (Blue, Cream, Black and Blush), you’d be spoilt for choice.
Also, let young, untainted love blossom this summer with our
self-manufactured fun and playful Eye Candy Skirt. Perfect for school, a picnic
or even a romantic first date. But be warned – we will not be held responsible
for people falling in love (with this skirt, of course) ;)
At MMTP, we understand that the task of coming up with a
plethora of outfit combinations without busting our budgets is no simple feat.
Therefore, the Two Sides of a Coin Reversible Tank is here to save the day (and
your wallets!). Not only does it boast two colours, which are interchangeable,
it screams effortless chic when paired with practically anything and
everything.
Finally, what is a MMTP collection without a dress that’s
sweet and ever so feminine? Look out for our upcoming Floral Crush Dress as
well because it’s so adorable and wearable that we can’t even resist keeping
one each for ourselves.
Aaaaand a little bit about yours truly:
I'm Nicole, the latest addition to the MMTP fam. What started out as a 3-day stint at the recent Chickisslove event @ Expo culminated into a 3-month internship with MMTP because I realized how much I love being in the company of clothes. I confess spending truckloads of time (money) on blogshopping because the thrill of scouring through the different blogshop offerings just cannot be duplicated elsewhere. I'm sure all you blogshop addicts can relate to this.
P/S: I confess. It was pretty entertaining to see Serene hobble around in her broken pair of wedges. Funny things must share. But don't tell her that you heard it from me!
X,
Nic :)

The Shopping Meltdown
Wednesday, May 8, 2013 || 6:29 AM
Hi, sorry for the lack of updates! MMTP has been undergoing some major changes. Some of you have posted comments or asked us about it. We'll let you guys know more once everything's settled down :)
Meanwhile, it's been almost a year since our last offline event. Did you guys come down for The Fashion Uprising with ChicKissLove, and the Suntec event with ST Classifieds last year? This year, we'll be at EXPO again with CKL!
Our Spring designs are in, with tons of lace and florals, as well as spring/summer trends like vintage boatneck cuts and dungarees! Get a sneak peek of these items firsthand at the event this weekend. Just to whet your appetite, here's 2 of my favourites.
We are also releasing our Spring designs at discounted prices, and giving out MMTP vouchers at the event, so you won't walk away empty-handed! :) We are still thinking about a clearance corner..If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see, do feel free to drop us an email!
xx
Serene
