Behind the Scenes: Before Sunset
Monday, September 23, 2013 || 7:32 AM

We made a trip to the beach this week for our lookbook shoot with Jing Xuan. It was extremely tiring, but we had quite a lot of fun! I dare say that for all of us after reviewing some hilarious photos from our behind-the-scenes shots. The place was however terribly hazardous. Barely done with the first outfit, and I cut my foot grazing past some rocks. Just gonna share these photos and give a sneak peek to some of the upcoming designs as well.

We are finally launching our cut-out maxi that was first previewed at VainPot's sale event this year, and it was very well received. I wore it for the event, and then went for Dirty Dancing. When I returned to the shop in the evening, I actually served a customer who had seen me in it at the musical and of all coincidences, she chanced upon VainPot and was pleasantly surprised to find the maxi retailing! I kept the Burgundy one. Thought that colour upped the classiness level by notches. Do check out our preview on Facebook for more pictures. We didn't have any of the Burgundy on our camera because poor Yijun had cut her foot on a rock (yes, she too! Told you the place was hazardous) towards the end of our shoot.

Besides the maxi, we also have a manufactured embroidery cut-out cotton tank. The 4 solid colours are extremely easy to match, and will look great with jeans, shorts and flare skirts. Our favourite go-to pieces for fall are knit throwovers and sweaters, so we have a couple of that this week as well.

Shedding blood for passion!

Don't judge! The tent was too warm.

My happy people!

And finally, we were rewarded with a glorious sunset♥

Sun & Sea Collection
Wednesday, August 28, 2013 || 1:32 AM

A big hello there! It's a brand new week, which also means a brand new collection from MMTP!

Catching on the latest trend, this collection we are embracing ombre in Fall's favourite denim shirt, eyelet fabrics, cut-outs and versatile denim bottoms.

Cut-outs have been all the rage this year, and it's not dying down at all.

Previously, our cut-out sides Miss Congeniality tulip dress was a sold out. This week we bring you something slightly different. Let's bring sexy back!

From the front, this dress in eye-popping colours flaunts a basic fit-flare cut. Turn your body slightly, and the subtle sexy lower back cut-out is bound to catch your eye with its illusion of slimmer waist. Small details matter in a design as well. We've been complimented on how the fabric-covered buttons actually add to the classiness of this boutique-quality piece as well.

We're not quite done with cut-outs! This chic tribal embossed top can easily be worn with a normal bra, paired with your bandage or pencil skirts for work, or jeans for dress-down Fridays, or even over shorts for the weekends.

For effortless street style, you just gotta have a denim shirt in your wardrobe. Spice up this yearly Fall trend, and ombre it!

Serene wears the Ombre Denim shirt with a pair of white shorts.
But there are so many other ways to wear it as well!

Denim on Denim

With the recent weather, we know how important having a pair of basic shorts is. The perfect pair of shorts is so hard to find, so we decided to have them manufactured. Also, if you're like us, tired of matching your tops with the same old denim shorts, how about adding some colours to your collection of bottoms? In red, yellow, white and navy, there are endless options to pair this one.

Have we mentioned how comfortable they are? I could sleep in them!

Stay tuned to the other preview photos we'll be posting up on Facebook!

With Love,
Roxane

Of basic dresses and tops
Wednesday, August 21, 2013 || 11:39 PM

A new week is upon us, and what better way to welcome it than with a little peek into our next collection? We have so many new designs brewing for the upcoming F/W, you'll be spoiled for choice.

First up, the off-shoulder dress has been all the rage this year.
Even celebrities are sporting this look on the red carpet. MMTP has put a casual spin to this sassy off-shoulder number, and made this an everyday go-to dress!

In our favourite comfortable jersey cotton, this is a great dress for the recent sunny weather. We've added a subtle v-neck for a touch of girly sweetness. Heading out at night and want to glam it up? We say go for the dark colours like Plum and Black, and do not hold back on the accessories!

While we're still in the mood for all things floral, and still trying to keep cool in this heat, you can't miss out on this basic piece. Bringing to you Pleatsy Chiffon Top, now in floral prints. This piece has been flying off all our retail racks, so don't say we didn't warn you! ;)

We're suckers for basics here at MMTP. A well-designed basic piece is extremely versatile and will last you for ages.
We love the clean-cut look of our latest manufactured basic U-neck top. Flaunt 'em collarbones and pair this piece easily with highwaisted bottoms or  over just casual shorts and printed bandage skirts. For the working ladies, this will be a great piece with pencil skirts and under blazers.

Eye-popping colours - Fuchsia & Blue, as well as staple Off-white

Do keep a look out for our mailers and preview on Facebook. Till then, have a lovely week ahead!

With love,
Roxane
